Services Offered

Collection of Real Property Taxes

Taxes are compulsory contributions to the Government. Real Property Taxes imposed on Real Properties such as Agricultural Land, Residential Lands & Buildings, Commercial Lands & Buildings. Every person who owns real property located within the municipality shall pay annual real property tax.

Requirements

  • Latest Treasurer’s Real Property Tax Receipt (1 original copy)
  • Latest Tax Declaration of Real Property (1 photocopy)

Steps

  1. Submit the duly filled- up request form and the required documents for initial assessment and verification
  2. Pay the required fees.
  3. Claim the Official Receipt

Issuance of Community Tax Certificate

A Community Tax Certificate shall be issued to every inhabitant of the Philippines eighteen (18) years of age or over who has been regularly employed on a wage or salary basis for at least thirty (30) consecutive working days during the calendar year; an individual who is engaged in business or occupation; an individual who owns real property with an aggregate assessed value of One Thousand Pesos (Php1,000.00) or more; and an individual who is required by law to file an income tax return.

A Community Tax Certificate may also be issued to any person not subject to the community tax upon payment of one peso(Php1.00).

The Community Tax shall accrue on the first (1st) day of January of each year and shall be paid not later than the last day of February of each year.

Computation and Issuance of Official Receipt for Business Taxes, Fees and Charges

Business Tax, Fees & Charges – tax, fees & charges imposed on person who establish, operate, conduct or maintain their respective business within the municipality.

  • Book of Accounts/Record of Sales (For Renewal)

Steps

  3. Claim the Official Receipt

Issuance of Tax Payment Certification, Tax Clearance / Certificate of Non-Delinquency

Certifications issued for their prompt payment of Real Property Taxes and payment of other tax obligations. Tax Clearance/Certificate of Non-Delinquency is a requirement of Business Permit which is requested by business owners with real properties declared under his/her name.

Application to Lease Market Stall

An application made by a vendor for the right or privilege to use a definite space within the public market and food court for the purpose of selling goods, commodities or services to the public. An applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years old, Filipino citizen, must not have been convicted or found guilty for violation of any ordinance, law, rules and regulations pertaining to market operations, must not have any tax accountability or liability with the Municipal Government and must be physically and mentally fit and not suffering from contagious or communicable disease.

Issuance of Net Take Home Pay Certification and Other Certifications

Certification is issued to employees needing the documents for personal and official transactions.

Issuance of Check

Check – issued to employees and officials, government entities, private individuals, suppliers/business owners and contractors or their authorized representative for the payment of their claims and services rendered.

  • Approved Disbursement Voucher (1 original copy & 2 photocopies) For Preparation and Approval of check
  • Valid Identification Card (1 original copy, 1 photocopy)
  • Official Receipts (1 original copy) For Government entities, business owners/suppliers and contactors
  • Special Power of Attorney (if Representative) (1 original copy)

Steps

  • PREPARATION & APPROVAL OF CHECK
    1. Submit the approved disbursement voucher (Accounting Office)
    2. Sign in the Record Book of the Municipal Treasury Office for receiving the documents (Mayor’s Office)
  • ISSUANCE OF CHECK
    • For municipal employees & officials and private individuals
      1. Submit request form and other required document.
      2. Sign in the disbursement voucher and the check register for receiving the check payment.
      3. Receive/Claim the check
    • For government entities, business owners/suppliers and contractors
      1. Submit request form and other required documents.
      2. Prepare and Issue official receipt, sign in the disbursement voucher and the check register for receiving the check payment.
      3. Receive/Claim the check
